SESSION 3: FORMATION PROCESS

Objective: To provide clear and practical guidance on the legal, organizational, and human aspects necessary to transform a collective idea into a formally established cooperative, anticipating the main challenges of the process and highlighting the opportunities offered by the cooperative model.

In this final session we will take a decisive step from motivation to action, revisiting the main learning shared throughout the webinars and focusing on the key elements to begin building a workers' cooperative.

During the meeting we will address the human and organizational challenges that arise when working collectively, such as building trust, making democratic decisions, defining roles, and the importance of good communication to maintain group motivation.

Likewise, you will clearly learn about the legal process to register a cooperative, including documentary requirements, process steps, estimated timelines, and the importance of technical support to move forward with greater confidence.
