The Annual Ordinary General Assembly course trains cooperatives to correctly comply with their legal obligation to hold and document the assembly in accordance with the General Law of Cooperatives, its Regulations, the Bylaws, and INACOP requirements.

Through a practical methodology, participants learn to plan, convene, conduct, and document the assembly, draft valid minutes, and prepare the final file for submission to INACOP. This process strengthens the cooperative's internal management and ensures compliance with its legal and statutory obligations.

Call to the Annual Ordinary General Assembly, Agenda and Prior Documentation

You'll learn:

Apply the appropriate procedures to call the Annual Ordinary General Assembly and prepare the required prior documents.

Celebration of the Annual Ordinary General Assembly and Election of Board Members, in accordance with the Cooperative's Bylaws

You'll learn:

Conduct the Assembly by applying rules on quorum verification, agenda, voting, and elections.

Draft minutes, resolutions, and other documents from the Annual Ordinary General Assembly, in accordance with the General Cooperative Law and its Regulations, and INACOP requirements.

The course is completely free and there is no fee to pay. The scholarship is provided by USDA and USAID to participate in CBS training programs. To obtain a scholarship, you simply need to apply to the available scholarship program.

Generally, to apply for a scholarship, you must fill out an application form that is provided during the registration process or, if you are already registered on the CBS platform, you can click on "Request classroom access" on each course page, just make sure you are logged in to see it. In most cases, there are no restrictions, unless the course is directed at a specialized topic, such as accounting, agriculture, trade, etc.

Certificates will only be granted to those who have successfully completed all activities in the modules that make up the course.
