In the course Annual Obligations of Cooperatives, we will review all the necessary steps to comply with the obligations indicated in the Law, including the planning activities of the Annual Ordinary Assembly, the submission of documents, the approval procedures and election of board members, as well as the updating or registration of these, concluding with the presentation and effective delivery of the Annual Report of Activities.

Annual General Assembly Presentation of Documents and Compliance with Agenda

You'll learn:

- Verification of Quorum and commencement of the Annual General Assembly celebration. - Presentation, approval, modification, and compliance with the Assembly Agenda. - Presentation of the different legal and administrative documents for the Assembly's consideration. - Process of approval, reform, and election of board members by the Assembly. - Drafting of the Assembly minutes, including the transcription of all items discussed therein, as well as the minutes of election and/or re-election of the board members.

Registration of Management Bodies and Legal Representative Preparation and Presentation of Annual Report

In most cases there are no restrictions, unless the course targets a specialized topic such as accounting, agriculture, trade, etc.

The course Annual Obligations of Cooperatives (Petén) runs for 8 hours spread across weeks.

Certificates are only granted to those who have satisfactorily completed all the activities of the modules that make up the course.

Participants must complete the assigned activities, attend the scheduled sessions to resolve questions, engage in community discussions or forums, and follow the established rules of conduct.

The scheduled office hours are calendared spaces where instructors or tutors are available to answer questions, receive projects, provide follow-up, and offer additional information or new courses to scholarship recipients.
