With the objective of analyzing the cocoa issues in the Apurímac, Ene and Mantaro Rivers Valley (Vraem), the Technical Board of the Cocoa and Chocolate Agroproductive Chain of the Vraem, in coordination with the National Commission for Development and Drug-Free Life (Devida) and other public and private institutions involved in the cultivation of this fruit, will organize the first organic cocoa and chocolate meeting "Eco cacao Vraem 2022".

The event will take place in the Cusco district of Kimbiri, from June 20 to 22, where topics such as cooperativism, analysis of the second agrarian reform, technological innovations in the cocoa value chain, marketing of fine aroma cocoa, organic cocoa research, production costs, dissemination of the cadmium study in the Vraem, problems of cocoa organizations in Peru and others will be addressed.

Similarly, an exhibition hall will be set up where diverse products from local and national cocoa entrepreneurs will be presented. Additionally, a business roundtable will be held to attract potential buyers or investors and consolidate a business contact agenda.
